Pastor Amani’s journey started in Congo DRC where He was born, raised, accepted Jesus as his Lord and savior. Amani started serving God singing at age 13. Worship Ministry was his first call writing songs, leading worship in a 2000-member church in Kigali Rwanda. After finishing his Pharmacy degree in Rwanda, He was sent by his church Restoration Church to complete one year of training in South Africa learning Worship Leading. Pastor Amani moved to the US in 2004 where He started “Jesus First Ministry” and later “Portland Night of Worship” with the purpose of unifying the body of Christ in Maine. The body of Christ was revitalized through these ministries. In 2010, Pastor Amani was Ordained Pastor in International Christian Fellowship (now Bethel Christian Center). He later felt the call to join the effort and serve as Associate Pastor in the new planting church in Hurst Texas- Disciples of Christ Mission Church. Pastor Amani resigned on his job at Catholic Charities Fort Worth in October 2017 to become the senior Minister at Disciples of Christ Mission Church. Pastor’s heart is “souls, souls, souls for Christ..” Amani is married to his wife Aimee. Together they have been blessed with two boys and two girls.
